2. Service Description
JM Taxi Service provides taxi services in Tonbridge, UK, including local taxi rides, airport drop-offs and pickups, and pre-booking services. Our aim is to offer reliable and trustworthy transportation to all our customers.
3. Bookings
3.1. Pre-booking: We recommend customers to pre-book rides, especially for airport services, to ensure availability.
3.2. On-demand services: While we strive to meet immediate ride requests, we cannot guarantee availability without a pre-booking.
3.3. Booking Confirmation: All bookings are confirmed via email or text message. It is the customer’s responsibility to check that all booking details are correct.
4. Payments and Charges
4.1. Pricing: Our fares are calculated based on distance, time, and any applicable surcharges. Prices for airport services may vary depending on the time of day and additional services such as waiting time.
4.2. Payment: Payment can be made via cash, credit/debit card, or other online payment methods available at the time of booking.
4.3. Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled ride to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 24 hours will be subject to a charge of 50% of the fare.
4.4. No-shows: If the customer fails to show up at the designated pick-up location, a no-show fee equivalent to the full fare will be charged.
5. Waiting Time and Delays
5.1. Waiting time charges: We offer a 10-minute grace period for standard pickups. After this period, waiting time will be charged at our standard rate. For airport pickups, a 30-minute grace period is provided.
5.2. Flight delays: For airport pickups, we monitor flight times and adjust pick-up times accordingly. In case of significant delays beyond 1 hour, additional waiting time charges may apply.
6. Passenger Responsibilities
6.1. Seatbelts: All passengers are required to wear seatbelts as per UK law.
6.2. Conduct: Passengers must behave in a respectful manner. JM Taxi Service reserves the right to refuse service if passengers are abusive, intoxicated, or pose a risk to the driver or vehicle.
6.3. Property: Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. JM Taxi Service will not be held liable for any loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.
7. Liabilities
7.1. Service reliability: While we aim to provide punctual and reliable service, JM Taxi Service cannot be held responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.
